The DCP-4V4S controller from Yamaha provide flexible external control of several functions for Yamaha's Commercial Installation solutions including YAM-MA or YAM-PA amplifiers and YAM-MTX or YAM-MRX processors.
This controller offers four volumes and four switches which can be assigned to various functions with the YAM-MTX and YAM-MRX processors such as source select, pre-set recall and zone control etc.
Used with the YAM-MA/PA the functions are pre-set based on the model. Please see the Data Sheet for compatibility.
Connection is by category cable CAT5E and better which transports the control signal by a Yamaha RS485 protocol + power. Wiring can be in series or in Parallel using the YAM-DCH8.
A maximum of eight DCPs can be connected to one YAM-MTX or YAm-MRXSeries. One YAM-DCP1V4S can be connected to one YAM-MA2030. A maximum of two YAM-DCPs can be connected to one YAM-MA2120 or YAM-PA2120.
