Yamaha 8 Way Digital Controller Hub For MTX or MRX Processors

The DCH8 Digital Controller Hub from Yamaha divides the control line from host devices, such as the Yamaha MTX or MRX series, into up to 8 lines. It allows for a flexible system structure with a combination of star and daisy chain connections as a repeater between the host device and the control panels.

The DCH8 divides the control line from host devices, such as the YAM-MTX3, YAM-MTX5D and YAM-MRX7D series, into up to 8 lines. In addition it allows for parallel wiring of up to two YAM-DCP for the YAM-MA2120and YAM-PA2120 . It allows for a flexible system structure with a combination of star and daisy chain connections as a repeater between the host device and the control panels.

It offers connection of up to eight DCP controllers by using daisy chain connections to 200m. When using 2 or 3 YAM-DCP controllers in a space which has a wide floor, a simple daisy chain connection is effective. When using more than 4 DCP controllers in a wide space over more that one floor or to separate rooms, a flexible topology, combining Daisy chain and Star connections, can help to extend the "total" cable length by combining a YAM-DCP series with YAM-DCH8.
