The Yamaha PA2030a is a Lo-Z/Hi-Z switchable Class-D power amplifier housed in a compact 1U rack chassis, designed as a companion expansion unit for the MA2030a and MA2120 mixer amplifiers.
It delivers 30W per channel into two channels at 3Ω, 4Ω or 8Ω, or 60W into a single channel via a 70V or 100V high-impedance line, allowing direct connection to low- or high-impedance speaker systems without external transformers.
It accepts one stereo or two mono line inputs via RCA pin and 3.5mm Euroblock connectors, and includes built-in speaker EQ optimised for Yamaha VXC and VXS series speakers, together with switchable HPF and LPF settings.
Naturally cooled and fanless for silent operation, the PA2030a is used to expand service or zoning areas beyond a single MA2030a mixer amplifier, sharing the same intelligent protection circuitry and compact chassis as the rest of the MA/PA series. It suits retail stores, restaurants, classrooms and similar commercial spaces requiring additional zoned coverage.
