The NHD-500-IW-TX V2 from WyreStorm brings versatility to your AV over IP applications. This 2-gang in-wall 500 series encoder is Dante AV-A ready and features HDMI and USB-C switching inputs, suited for connecting today's modern laptops and tablets. Perfect for education or corporate environments, install this encoder in a wall, table, desk, podium or anywhere a remote input is needed. Integrated USB extension allows laptops to also connect to peripheral components such as conference cameras, smartboards, touchscreens and more.

HDMI and USB-C inputs support the latest laptops and mobile devices with Auto Switching or Manual switching modes. Whether using a Windows PC, Apple MacBook or an iPad, you'll be able to transmit video without being inconvenienced with converters or adapters. The USB-C connection supports alt mode capable of video, data and 60W charging to a computer (external 20V 6A power adapter required).

Whether using the USB-C connection or HDMI, connected computers can access remote USB peripherals connected to the NetworkHD system without needing extra components. In a corporate application this can be a remote conference camera, or in education a smartboard or touchscreen.

What truly sets the NHD-500-IW-TX V2 apart from its predecessor is the addition of Dante AV-A support. This brings robust Audio over IP capability to the platform, ensuring seamless interoperability with Dante-enabled DSPs, amplifiers, mixers and more. A dedicated additional Ethernet port is provided for the Dante AV-A network, which can also be used to connect local devices directly to the network — reducing cabling complexity and switch port usage.

The simplistic white Decora plate and compact 2-gang form factor allows the encoder to blend discreetly into a wide range of environments. PoE support means no additional cabling is required through the wall for standard deployments.
