Hoody Fire and Acoustic Speaker Hood For Sonance Invisible Series IS8 In-Wall Speakers and IS10W Woofers

Hoody is a range of Fire and Acoustic speaker hoods, which bring all your installations into conformity with the latest IEE and Building Regulations for Fire and Acoustic integrity of ceilings and stud walls. Due to it acoustic construction, the hood will also stop a large amount of backwards sound leakage, typically -9dB, from the speakers to the rooms adjacent its location.

These hoods are specifically designed for Sonance IS8 in wall speakers and IS10W woofers only.

It is suggested and recommenced that an Acoustic Fire hood is fitted to all in wall and ceiling speaker locations, but it is a requirement that hoods are fitted to all in wall and ceiling speakers that are installed where the construction is rated for 30 minutes or more to ensure compliance. The Hoody range of speaker hoods feature a fire rating of up to 90 minutes and are Parts B,L,C and E compliant.
