ACT-DANTE-E-POE

The ultra-compact AudioControl ACP-DANTE-E-POE is a two-channel, 100% lossless, Dante™ network audio encoder for Dante or AES67 audio streams. The AC-DANTE-E-POE is configurable for industry-standard sampling rates from 44.1 kHz to 96 kHz in 16-, 24-, or 32-bit word lengths to encode analogue stereo signals into Dante for network distribution to compatible Dante devices.

Capable of being powered either from the included 5 V PSU or via PoE if desired, the compact form factor AC-DANTE-D-POE may be placed strategically wherever Dante encoding of an analogue source device is required. Any AVPro Edge MXnet 1G PoE switch may be used stand-alone or configured for Dante network traffic, providing a transfer distance of up to 100 meters (328 feet) with correctly implemented CAT5e or CAT6A infrastructure. Legacy audio sources such as FM tuners, various format tape machines, or high-capacity CD changers may still be enjoyed and distributed over distances up to 100 meters (328 feet) with their original, full fidelity to Dante-compatible devices such as AudioControl CM series or Director Series amplifiers.

Dante Controller, downloadable free from Audinate, is required to perform initial configuration, encoding parameters, Dante stream subscriptions, network settings, and AES67 audio support adjustments. For static installations, these may be set-and-forget adjustments. When powered and connected to a Dante network, the ACP-DANTE-E-POE is ‘auto-discovered’ for easy identification.
