The YAM-EXI8 input expander from Yamaha converts analogue microphone or line audio to digital and transmits the signal using Yamaha's YDIF format. The EXI8's preamps can be controlled remotely from MTX/MRX series processor via Ethernet cable.
Compatible DSP processors are YAM-MTX3 with Max 1 -Adds 8 Inputs, YAM-MTX-5D and YAM-MRX7-D with Max 2- Adds up to 16 Inputs.
