The CAB-UAOC-15 from WyreStorm is an active optical cable supporting the extension of USB signals ranging from 2.0 up to the 3.2 Gen 2 spec, meaning this cable can support 10Gbps at a distance of 15m / 50ft.
It is great for the connection of remote USB devices such as PTZ cameras, interactive touchscreens or smartboards, audio/video extension or simply high speed data transfer over long distances. With the USB Male to USB Female design, you can connect and extend practically any USB peripheral device in seconds. No software or drivers are required.
Supporting the USB 3.2 Gen 2 specification, means sending A/V or data signals at up to 10Gbps. This is the equivalent to transferring a 10Gb file in 8 seconds or transmitting a 4K 60Hz 4:2:0 video signal from a computer or media player.
