WyreStorm EX-70-H2C 4K@60Hz HDMI Extender Set With ARC and Bi-Directional PoC

The WyreStorm EX-70-H2C is a 4K HDMI extender set designed for residential home theatres and multi-media conference spaces, extending full 4K@60Hz (4:4:4) HDMI 2.0 signals up to 70m (230ft) over a single Cat6/6a cable. Housed in a compact steel chassis, it gives installers a straightforward, cost-effective way to deliver a source to a distant display without compromising on picture quality.

The TX unit includes an HDMI OUT loop-out for a local monitor, alongside an EDID management switch that lets installers select a fixed resolution (1080p@60Hz or 4K@60Hz) or copy the EDID directly from the source or display. Over Cat6/6a/7, the set supports transmission up to 70m at 1080p or 4K@60Hz, with additional support for a 50m run over Cat5e.

Bi-directional IR pass-through allows source devices to be controlled from the display location, and vice versa, via the supplied IR receiver and transmitter. The RX unit carries a side switch to select between ARC (returning audio from the display) or de-embed mode, extracting audio from the source signal to the S/PDIF output.

Power is delivered via bi-directional PoC, meaning only one power supply is required for either the TX or RX unit, simplifying cable runs and installation. HDCP 2.3 compliance and 18Gbps bandwidth ensure compatibility with premium 4K, HDR and gaming sources.

Both units are finished in a durable sheet steel chassis with wall-mounting ears, and include a Micro USB port for firmware updates. The extender set is backed by WyreStorm's 5 year warranty.
