The WyreStorm APO-VX20-UC v2 is the next generation of the Apollo all-in-one conference video bar, combining an upgraded 8-MEMS beamforming microphone array, dual 8W stereo speakers, and an advanced AI 4K camera into a single, elegant unit. Designed for demanding corporate environments from huddle spaces to executive boardrooms, it introduces dual HDMI outputs, wireless conferencing via the APO-DG2 dongle, and a newly expanded suite of AI tracking modes for a more natural and immersive meeting experience.

Connectivity has been significantly expanded over the original VX20. The v2 features both HDMI and USB-C wired inputs, with USB-C delivering up to 60W of device charging for connected laptops or tablets. A key upgrade is the addition of a second HDMI output, providing dual simultaneous 4K display support and greatly increasing installation flexibility. Wired connections are complemented by wireless casting via AirPlay and Miracast, as well as compatibility with the WyreStorm APO-DG1 casting dongle.

A significant advancement in the v2 is native support for the APO-DG2 wireless dongle, which enable true wireless conferencing — not merely wireless casting. This allows participants to join and conduct meetings entirely cable-free via their personal devices, delivering a seamless bring-your-own-device experience that the original VX20 could not support.

The AI camera capabilities have been substantially upgraded in the v2. An enlarged image sensor and more powerful AI processing engine now deliver four distinct tracking and framing modes: Auto Framing, Presenter Tracking, Speaker Tracking, and the newly introduced Individuals Gallery, which provides split-view coverage of multiple participants for a more natural and inclusive conference experience. Audio performance has been equally enhanced, with the microphone array upgraded from four to eight MEMS elements with Acoustic Echo Cancellation, Automatic Gain Control, and Automatic Noise Suppression, ensuring clear voice capture at distances of up to 8 metres. Coverage can be further extended by cascading up to five APO-SKY-MIC add-on microphones for the most demanding room sizes.

The APO-VX20-UC v2 integrates seamlessly into the broader WyreStorm Apollo ecosystem and is compatible with all major video conferencing platforms including Microsoft Teams, Zoom, WebEx, and BlueJeans. The unit retains the practical cable management channels of the original design and supports both table-top and wall-mount installation orientations, making it a versatile and installation-friendly solution for integrators working across a wide range of corporate environments.
