At the heart of the system lies Wisdom Audio’s ICS3 Spiral Planar Magnetic Driver, a technology renowned for exceptional speed, clarity and transient precision. Unlike conventional dome tweeters, the planar magnetic design delivers ultra-wide 120° circular coverage (-6dB) with consistent tonal balance across the listening area and reduced distortion at realistic listening levels
The result is expansive, even dispersion that minimises localisation and ensures uniform performance throughout the room, ideal for open-plan residential and hospitality environments.
The ICS3FR integrates a high-performance 6.5-inch woofer, enabling meaningful low-frequency extension rarely achieved from such a compact architectural form factor with a frequency range from 20kHz down to 40Hz (±3dB) / 30Hz (-10dB). The ICS3FR requires no additional EQ or PEQ, only a high-pass filter at 35Hz-40Hz.
