The Vaddio USB3 Extender over CAT6, VAD-USB3-EXTENDER-VIA-CAT6, enables you to extend USB 3.1 beyond the standard 3m cable limit for USB 3.1 peripheral devices, such as a camera or other AV source. This extender system is composed of two individual units, the Local Extender and the Remote Extender.
This USB3 extender allows up to 100m / 328 ft of extension when directly connected over CAT 6a/7 cable, whilst supporting up to four remote USB devices simultaneously at full bandwidth (5Gbps).
As no software drivers are required, this extender is a true plug and play unit. It works with all major operating systems, such as Windows®, macOS™, Linux® and Chrome OS™ and has a plenum rated cabling solution.
