StormAudio's Core 16+ supports up to 18 channels and has all the DSP power to decode all the latest immersive formats (Auro-3D, Dolby Atmos, DTS:X Pro, IMAX Enhanced) and enable post-processing to optimise any speaker to any room straight out of the box. It includes the the latest Dirac Live Active Room Treatment module for easy and accurate room calibration, supports up to 20 PEQs per channel and can drive up to four-way active crossovers and any number of subwoofers.
The Core 16+, designed and manufactured in France, and has a refined minimalist design highlighting a new full colour 5” display that provides access to a wealth of information such as real time multichannel Vu Metre or HDMI signal details for quick accessible overview of essential data. The Core 16+ can be easily controlled by a variety of tools, ranging from the included IR remote control to home automation systems or the Android/iOS app available on smartphones or tablets.

Based on the design of its big brother the ISP Elite MK3, it delivers the same audio performance with the same DAC portion and proprietary analogue/digital hybrid volume adjustment that maximises the dynamic range for a more accurate, detailed and dynamic reproduction of your movie soundtrack or your music playlists.
Although the Core 16+ does not offer modularity, upgradability of the HDMI board remains possible so you can stay up to date whenever new updates are released. It currently supports HDMI2.1/HDCP2.3 up to 8K/4K 120 with HDR10+, HLG and Dolby Vision as well as ARC/eARC. It comes with advanced tools to enhance system flexibility and performance: StormXT ambiance expander, Expert Bass Management flexible bass routing and HDMI matrix features.
