The RB‑DAC1 delivers high-quality digital-to-analogue conversion with support for sample rates up to 192 kHz and word lengths up to 24 bits. It accommodates both AES/EBU and S/PDIF digital formats, selectable via a rear-panel push-button. Analogue outputs are available on balanced XLR and unbalanced phono connectors, with selectable full-scale output levels of +12 dBu, +18 dBu or +24 dBu. The unbalanced outputs provide an additional –8.5 dBu attenuation to ensure level compatibility. A de-emphasis decoding function is included for digital sources that require it, and output gain settings are selectable via DIP switches.

The unit also includes a front-mounted headphone output with independent level control, enabling straightforward monitoring of the input signal. A front-panel LED provides clear indication of signal lock status. Housed in a durable 1 U Redbox enclosure with universal mains power input, the RB-DAC1 integrates cleanly into a wide range of professional applications where consistent audio performance and signal flexibility are essential.
