This pair of Sennheiser Half Wave Dipole antenna rods are designed for use with EW-D EM receivers or the EW-D ASA antenna splitter.
Offered as an upgrade from the quarter wave antennas that come with the receivers, they provide added range and reliability for your microphone wireless system.
Each antenna rod is equipped with a swivel BNC connector. They have a frequency range of 470MHz to 550 MHz
The Sennheiser SEN-EW-D-HALF-WAVE-DIPOLE-S is recommended when locally mounted on a rack with a short 50Ω patch cable. It is not intended for remote antenna applications of greater distance, please see SEN-A1031U (Omnidirectional) or SEN-A2003UHF (Directional)
A half wave dipole doesn't rely on a ground plan, making it suitable for local remote mounting. It is not recommended to use the quarter wave antennas supplied with the SEN-EW-D SET, other than to directly mount on the receivers.
