The MGS-5220-8P2X is Planet Technology’s first Layer 2+ Managed multi gigabit Switch providing 2.5Gbps data rate and PoE over UTP cables. It is designed for the demand of high bandwidth required network equipment, such as 802.11ac Wave 2 wireless acess points.
This managed switch offers a perfect hardware configuration with 8 100, 1000 and 2500BASE-T ports featuring 30W 802.3at PoE+ and 2 extra 1/10 Gigabit BASE-X SFP+ fibre slots.
The MGS-5220-8P2X breaks the bandwidth limitation of connecting wireless networks with wired networks and delivers hardware based Layer 3 static routing capability, Layer 2 and Layer 4 switching engine and Planet Technology's intelligent PoE functions.
It provides a highly secure and environment friendly network management tool and accelerates the deployment of wireless network infrastrucure.
