Panamorph's DCR-J1 Direct Attach Lens System, JVC, offers the full performance of the Paladin DCR in a smaller form specifically designed to attach directly into the lens openings of specific projectors.

This lens exceeds commercial cinema quality by engaging the internal anamorphic modes of today’s 4K projectors to add 2.6 million more pixels of clarity and 38% more brightness when showing the movie and streaming content in the cinema format.

Please note:
The projection screen should be flat, in the 2.4:1 aspect ratio and with a minimum 1.5″ border. The projector should be horizontally centred on the screen +/- 3 inches and pointing at the horizontal screen centre, i.e. minimum lens shift. The throw ratio, being the throw distance divided by screen viewable width, should be at least 1.4:1. Projector vertical position should around the top of the screen or up to several inches higher to insure the beam gets through the lens at a 1.4:1 throw ratio.

This restriction becomes more relaxed with higher throw ratios.
