Nexo Dante and AES/EBU Card For MK2 NEX-NXAMPS

The Nexo Dante Card 01 NX.AEDT can be fitted in the expansion port of a NXAMP amplifier and adds both AES/EBU and Dante™ inputs to NXAMPmk2 Powered Controllers.

Dante™ replaces point to point audio connections with easy to use, scalable and flexible networking. Adopted by hundreds of manufacturers in thousands of professional products, Dante™ is the de facto standard for modern AV connectivity.

Nexo's NEX-NEXAMP can be configured with this Dante™ digital audio networking card through the rear expansion port on the amplifiers. This facilitates remote rack rooms and multi channel interfaces with Digital Signal Processors such as the YAM-MTX5-D and YAM-MRX7-D or other Dante™ and AES enabled devices.

The NEX-NX.AEDT contains a highly flexible 4 ports gigabit switch with 4 different configuration modesreceiving four Dante™ audio streams and allows for remote control, configurable as a separate network or from the Dante™ network,  from any computer on the network using TCP/IP commands. The card can be configured as Primary only or Primary and Secondary modes which if configured allows for a redundant Dante™ network. Should the Primary network fail in any way Dante® will switch over automatically to the secondary network. Alternatively, in Primary only mode the additional Ethernet ports can be used as a switch to other components in the system.

Importantly, no longer are dedicated point to point analogue audio connections required by implementing Dante™.

This input extension card has a Male 3pin and Female 3pin XLR providing 2 channels of AES/EBU inputs with buffered outputs and 44.1kHz to 96kHz digital audio support
