The Mid Atlantic VBK-E20 vent magnetised blockers are used to prevent the recirculation of hot air between top mount fans and nearby vent openings. Vent blockers should be placed over the enclosure’s vents located on the upper front of the enclosure, upper sides and upper rear door, depending on the enclosure. This will ensure that heated enclosure air will be forced out through the top mounted exhaust fans instead of re-circulating thereby keeping the equipment cool.

Cover up badly positioned vents with included magnetic blocker strips. By helping air flow in one direction from lower intake vents through a top fan, vent blocker strips promote strategic thermal management. The rack equipment will stay cooler and run more efficiently than in a badly managed cooling system.

This kit is sized for immediate use without trimming and includes the needed pieces to block top vents and side panel vents.
