Mid Atlantic's OCAP-2 Open Clamping Rack Mount has been specifically designed to promote airflow for equipment that generates significant heat such as cable and satellite boxes, etc. This rack mount eliminates the need to vent panels between each shelf, saving both space and money for the rack's set up configuration.

The rack shelf features 2 adjustable foam padded mounting bars on the bottom of the shelf and another 2 identical bars on the top of the shelf. The lower two bars make up the bottom of the rack and allow for the superior airflow characteristics of this unit. By placing the equipment between these bars, air can circulate freely on every side.

The equipment can also be secured between the bars without fear of scratching because of the padded surface on the bars. This unique solution will lower the operating temperature of the rack's components.

The unit is constructed of steel for sturdiness and features a flat black powder coat finish for durability. It occupies 2U of rack space and has weight capacity of 11.34kg.
