The VXQ48R is a 4" round in ceiling loudspeaker from the James by Sonance Visual Experience Quadratech series, designed for discreet ceiling installations that still demand full range performance. As a configurable, built to order product, it can be tailored with options including enclosures, 70/100V transformers and grille styles to suit specific project requirements.

It combines a 4.5" aluminium cone woofer with Santoprene surround and a four titanium dome Quadratech tweeter with Cymatic diffuser for even, balanced treble at any angle. The ROTO-LOCK® clamp system and 1 stage mounting make for a fast, secure ceiling fit, and the speaker is available with a round or square Micro Trim grille, or a Trimless grille. It's IP67 rated, suiting bathrooms, kitchens and covered outdoor ceilings.

It can be specified with a shallow or deep enclosure to ensure IP67 rating from both sides of the speaker, with an optional 70/100V transformer (30W, 50W or 100W taps) available when the deep enclosure is selected.
