James Small Aperture Offset to Left 3 Way In-Ceiling Full Range Speaker With White or Custom Grille Colour: EACH

The SA63-7-L is part of the Small Aperture® series of in ceiling speaker systems that provide high volume levels, deep bass and wide coverage from a small 3” seamless and flush round or square opening The James Loudspeaker JAM-SA63-7-L with a port 2.5” / 63.5mm offset from centre, is virtually hidden and yet provides the complete musical experience. Ideal for installations such as stud wall (plaster board), solid surfaces or retrofits and also comes with custom powder coat colour options for the grilles.

Each system is a true full range 3 way design with a 0.75” / (19mm aluminium dome tweeter, 2” (50mm) aluminium midrange driver and a 6.5” (165mm) aluminium mini PowerPipe subwoofer, all concentrically mounted. Designed for whole house audio installations, the SA63-7-L is especially suited for high end homes where critical listening is paramount and aesthetics are equally as vital.

The point source mid/high module provides an excellent off axis response, and the hidden mini PowerPipe woofer generates bass down to 38Hz for a truly full range music experience, yet the user only sees a 3” or 4” round or square seamless flush opening. Now available with 3” Microperf grille. The grille configuration also accepts industry standard mounting and fits high end lighting trim kits to allow the speaker to match lighting fixtures in the same installation. The SA63-7-L includes an left offset port, being 63.5mm / 2.5” offset from centre, which allows the speaker port to be positioned close to the ceiling joists where applicable. This port is necessary to place the speaker grille in line with light fixtures located near the joists.

Are designed to be installed directly into the stud wall/plaster board (sheetrock) of a ceiling. The specially designed mud ring allows you to apply sheetrock mudding material and evenly distribute. Are designed to solve two installation needs. Firstly, when installing a SA series speaker in a dropped ceiling, these items provides a 9.53mm / 3/8" edge to cover the edge of the ceiling board, covering any rough cut issues. Secondly, these items can be used to cover any errors made in a solid surface cut out where a wood ceiling panel was not cut exactly or there are tear outs and the visual would not be appealing.
