James Small Aperture 3 Way 4" Deep In-Ceiling Full Range Speaker With White or Custom Colour Grille Options: EACH

The JAM-SA63-4 is part of the new Small Aperture® series of in ceiling speakers from James. It provides high volume levels, deep bass and wide coverage from a small 3” flush and seamless round or square aperture. Designed for whole house audio installations, the JAM-SA63-4 3 way in ceiling full range speaker is especially suited for high end homes where critical listening is of paramount importance and aesthetics are equally as vital.

The speaker conforms to UL2043 and UL1480 standards for fire safety and plenum use.

James SA Series models are essentially hidden and yet provide the complete musical experience. Each system is a true full range 3 way design with a 0.75” (19mm) aluminium dome tweeter, 2” (89mm) aluminium mid range driver and a 6.5” (165mm) aluminium mini PowerPipe subwoofer, all concentrically mounted. Measuring in at less than 4" deep, these units are especially suited for in wall applications as they fit nicely into any 2 x 4 stud bay (plasterboard). The point source mid/high module provides excellent off axis response and the hidden mini PowerPipe woofer generates bass down to 48Hz for a truly full range music experience and the user only sees a 3” round or square seamless flush opening.

The grille configuration has industry standard mounting and accepts high end lighting trim kits to allow the speaker to match lighting fixtures in the same installation.

Stud wall / ceiling plasterboard offering a flush finish.

Are designed to be installed directly into the stud wall/plaster board (sheetrock) of a ceiling/wall. The specially designed mud ring allows you to apply sheetrock mudding material and evenly distribute. Solid surfaces offering a flush finish.

Retrofit with a bezel around the grille

Are designed to solve two installation needs. Firstly, when installing a SA series speaker in a dropped ceiling, these items provides a 9.53mm / 3/8" edge to cover the edge of the ceiling board, covering any rough cut issues. Secondly, these items can be used to cover any errors made in a solid surface cut out where a wood ceiling panel was not cut exactly or there are tear outs and the visual would not be appealing. These Small Aperture® in ceiling speakers offer custom power coated coloured grilles. Custom grille colours bring that element of personalisation and uniqueness to your audio system, by matching and co-ordinating with other elements in the room or space.
