From the iconic Small Aperture® speaker series comes the JAM-SA42-4, the most compact and affordable option in James’ range of discrete in ceiling architectural loudspeakers. Designed to deliver a full, rich and dynamic audio experience, expected from a much larger and more obtrusive system, this series delivers from the smallest of openings at just 3” round or square. White grilles are included, in addition to customer powder coated colour grilles options being available.

Prefect for residential and commercial applications where appearance and performance are of paramount importance and though compact, the JAM-SA42-4 will effortlessly fill any space with music through an astonishingly small, fully customisable 3” aperture. These speakers deliver true high-fidelity, superb off axis performance, unmatched durability and nearly an invisible aesthetic.

These barely visible ultra high performance architectural speakers have been created to redefine the concept of a décor matched entertainment system. The compact design of the JAM-SA42-4 still utilises a full 2 way system for an astoundingly wide frequency response all the way down to 70Hz, using a high excursion 4” bandpass woofer, and a 2” mid/high frequency module. Full coverage and high SPL from such a small with seamless grille are designed to maximise the beauty of your home. Constructed from aircraft grade aluminium and with a modular design, the JAM-SA42-4 provides long life and easy serviceability, while a proprietary protection circuit offers the utmost in long term reliability. Requiring a small installation footprint, this speaker fits easily into shallow depths including a 2 x 4 stud bay and it can be paired with an optional Small Aperture or PowerPipe subwoofer for extended low frequencies and greater SPL.

Stud wall / ceiling plasterboard offering a flush finish.

Are designed to be installed directly into the stud wall/plaster board (sheetrock) of a ceiling/wall. The specially designed mud ring allows you to apply sheetrock mudding material and evenly distribute. Solid surface offering a flush finish

Retrofit with a bezel around the grille

Are designed to solve two installation needs. Firstly, when installing a SA series speaker in a dropped ceiling, these items provides a 9.53mm / 3/8" edge to cover the edge of the ceiling board, covering any rough cut issues. Secondly, these items can be used to cover any errors made in a solid surface cut out where a wood ceiling panel was not cut exactly or there are tear outs and the visual would not be appealing. Custom Colour Options

These Small Aperture® in ceiling/ in wall speakers offer custom power coated coloured grilles. Custom grille colours bring that element of personalisation and uniqueness to your audio system, by matching and co-ordinating with other elements in the room or space.
