The universal Crimp Tool is the recommended crimp tool for all for shielded external ground standard WE/SS (8P8C) RJ45 modular plugs. The S45-C250 is a breakthrough in professional RJ45 termination and is excellent for crimping standard shielded external ground RJ45 modular plugs for 10G shielded LAN cables.
This crimp tool is ratcheted to allow for a full compression cycle. Simply45® knows that a ratcheted crimp tool is critical to ensuring that the RJ45 pins are properly seated onto the wire conductors. A ratcheted crimp tool prevents incomplete plug termination.
The S45-C250 uses synchronised handles that compress together during the crimping cycle. This synchronisation delivers consistent and even force directly to the plug socket. The result is a smoother, faster and easier crimping process, and provides more leverage. The Simply45® S45-C250 Crimp Tool design utilises both handles working in tandem to deliver the crimping force with much less effort. Crimping Cat6 cables with one hand is easy to do. This lowers hand fatigue especially when you have many terminations to complete in a day.
Wrapped with reinforced steel ensures tool stability during the crimping cycle. In addition, the Simply45® S45-C250 Crimp Tool includes a crimping socket for the external ground arm. There is no need for a separate tool.
