The Simply45 S45-B005P is an 7.3mm snagless strain relief with locking pin for use with Simply 45 larger diameter Cat6/Cat6a RJ45 plug. These strain reliefs protect the RJ45 modular plug and extend the useful life of the termination. Tinted Red for easy identification.

These strain reliefs are designed to work with most large diameter LAN cables and to fit over Simply45 Cay6/6a RJ45 modular plugs. It can work with cable diameters up to 7.3mm.

It is recommended for all shielded with external ground RJ45 modular plugs.

In addition to protecting the termination and extending the operating life of the link or channel, the S45-B005P strain reliefs also provide a professional finish to your terminated RJ45. It takes the strain off the terminated plug. If not using a strain relief, any contact with the plug or cable puts strain directly on the terminated plug and over time this could cause one or more of the RJ45 pins to become loose. If a pin becomes loose it will create electrical resistance. Resistance creates heat, which could cause performance problems or damage to the device socket.
