The JAM-FXAQ550SX James 3 way 5.25" angled baffle in wall or in ceiling surround speaker with white grille from James Loudspeaker provides the optimal performance solution for any application. This speaker is ideal for areas where coverage is a challenge, as it offers high performance at an off axis seating position while ensuring reduced reflections from any adjacent boundary. Angled baffle loudspeakers are ideal for specialised applications such as front L/C/R ceiling speakers or Atmos™ surrounds.
This 3 way speaker makes an outstanding ceiling speaker for both L/C/R and surround applications as well as a great in wall surround speaker, allowing downward coverage to adhere to many 3D immersive specifications such as Atmos™, Auro3D and DTS:X. It also offers a perfect solution for additional rooms where speakers must be located off of the main listening area.
The JAM-FXAQ550SX is a full 3 way design with the grille edge detail appearing virtually flush when installed. The James quad array tweeter provides wide coverage and high output.
In the FXA series, a beryllium tweeter is used for the ultimate in high fidelity performance. Whilst the dual high excursions mid range transducers are mounted on the main baffle and is angled at 30° towards the listening area, the dual woofers are angled on the adjacent baffle at 20° to provide full bass response.
All woofers are designed with aluminium cones and die cast baskets. All enclosures are also constructed with aircraft marine 5052 aluminium and include aluminium white grilles. For outdoor or marine vessels applications please refer to the JAM-FXAQ550S-M IP65 rated version of this speaker.
All units are assembled and tested in Minden, Nevada and guaranteed to give you that signature James sound.
