With Dahua's Smart Motion Detection SMD 4.0, this camera works with intelligent algorithms to classify targets that trigger motion detection alarms. It filters out objects that are not targets, such as small and large animals, to avoid triggering false alarms. With an AI NVR, Quick Pick technology this allows you to easily search for and pick out human and vehicle targets from SMD event videos, prioritizing the highest matches.
The AI SSA adopts deep learning algorithms to detect environmental conditions, such as rain, fog, backlight, low light and flicker, to adjust the parameters of the image to suit the conditions, ensuring that clear images are always produced
In addition, Dahua's Perimeter Protection technology can recognise humans and vehicles accurately. In restricted area, such as pedestrian areas and vehicular areas, the false alarms of intelligent detection based on target type, such as tripwire, intrusion, fast moving, parking detection, loitering detection and gathering detection are largely reduced.
Adopting an advanced algorithm of Smart (H.265+ and H.264+) auto stream control according to the environment, Dahua's smart encoding technology delivers higher efficiency than H.265 and H.264, producing high quality video and reducing the cost of storage and transmission.

This camera also offers advanced Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) technology, offering clear details in environments of strong brightness and large contrast. With Dahua’s Intelligent Video Analysis (IVS), this camera supports intelligent detection such as tripwire and intrusion.
Offering an IP67 rating, this camera passes a series of strict test on dust and soak. It has dust proofing and the enclosure works normally after soaking in 1m deep water for 30 minutes. The enclosure also withstands a punch more than 5 times from a 5kg hammer falling from a height of 40cm. With wide voltage, this camera also allows ±30% input voltage tolerance, so it is ideal for outdoor environment with unstable voltage.
