Dahua's IPC-HFW5541EP-ZE- 5MP WizSense Series Varifocal Bullet Camera with PoE/ePoE offers the most advanced AI technologies, including deep learning algorithms that features Face Capture, Metadata, People Counting and traffic data statistic functions. This camera also offers Dahua's Starlight and Smart IR technology, being designed to provide a high visual deterrent as well as to capture images from a fixed location, pointing at a particular area.

The ePoE technology from Dahua features advanced 2D-PAM3 coding modulation from the physical layer and provides full duplex transmission over 800m at the speed of 10Mbps or 300m at the speed of 100Mbps via Cat5 or coaxial cable media. It also offers PoE and PoC power supply technology which has greatly simplified construction and wiring. This ePoE technology offer a new way to accomplish long distance transmission between IP camera and network switch and it allows more flexible surveillance, improves reliability and saves construction and wiring cost.

With SMD Plus, an intelligent algorithm, Dahua's Smart Motion Detection technology can categorise the target that triggers motion detection and filter the motion detection alarm triggered by eliminating targets, which are of no interest, whereby offering only effective and accurate alarms. In addition, Dahua Perimeter Protection technology can recognise human and vehicle accurately. In restricted area, such as pedestrian areas and vehicular areas, the false alarms of intelligent detection based on target type, such as tripwire, intrusion, fast moving, parking detection, loitering detection and gathering detection are largely reduced.

Dahua’s Starlight technology mainly corrects images from areas of low illumination and provides clear colourful video. Even in the environment of minimal illumination, the technology can guarantee a good image.

The People Counting function of this camera uses advanced image processing technology to capture depth information from images. The camera pairs this information with deep learning algorithms to analyse and detect human bodies and track target objects in real time. The camera provides statistics for separate individual's ingress and egress with up to 95% counting accuracy. This camera, additionally, detects and tracks targets by selecting 4 polygon areas and counting people in each area, when the number of the people in the area is greater than or equal to the defined threshold an alarm will be triggered. It also provides a heat map of number of people and average strand time. Customers’ regions of interest can be observed from the number of people and time.

Adopting an advanced algorithm of Smart (H.265+ and H.264+) auto stream control according to the environment, Dahua's smart encoding technology delivers higher efficiency than H.265 and H.264, producing high quality video and reducing the cost of storage and transmission. Whilst, Dahua's advanced Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) technology, offering clear details in environments of strong brightness and large contrast. This is particularly key in high brightness and back lit environments, bright and dark regions with strong light sources. The image will always remain clear. Also, with Dahua’s Intelligent Video Analysis (IVS), this camera supports intelligent detection such as tripwire and intrusion.

Offering an IP67 rating, this camera passes a series of strict test on dust and soak. It has dust proofing and the enclosure works normally after soaking in 1m deep water for 30 minutes. The enclosure also withstands a punch more than 5 times from a 5kg hammer falling from a height of 40cm. With wide voltage, this camera also allows ±30% input voltage tolerance, so it is ideal for outdoor environment with unstable voltage.
