At its core is the Hyperion APR-16, a 16-channel balanced preamp processor that fully leverages DIRAC-licensed technologies, Room Correction, Bass Control and Active Room Treatment, to compensate for the acoustic characteristics of the listening room, alongside Dolby Atmos and DTS:X decoding and HDMI 2.1 switching across seven inputs.

The 7-channel configuration pairs the APR-16 with a single Hyperion Hepta 7-channel Class-H amplifier, while the 11-channel configuration adds a Hyperion Tetra 4-channel amplifier alongside the Hepta for full 11-channel amplification; both amplifiers are rated at 230W per channel into 8 ohms (300W into 4 ohms), delivering the dynamic headroom that immersive soundtracks demand.
