No More Pointing - RF Capabilites
Radio Frequency (RF) operation provides up to 100'
range though walls, floors and doors, indoors or
outdoors. Self-adhesive "emitters" affix to the
infrared sensors on the front panels of your
components. The emitters relay IR commands to
components out of sight to the MRF-250's/MRF-300's
RF base station front blaster. The emitters plug in
to the MRF-250's/MRF-300's RF base station rear
flasher line outputs via their 10 foot cables. Six
flashers with visual feedback are included with each
MRF-250/MRF-300 RF base station.
Controls Up To 10 Components
The Complete Control® MX-350 controls up to 10
components. Each of the 10 components can be
programmed with up to 8 pages of LCD screens, plus
the 33 hard buttons. The MX-350 allows you to edit
the text on each LCD screen exactly as you prefer.
Extensive Macro Programming
The powerful memory of the MX-350 offers up to 472
potential Macro buttons. Each of these macros can
play back up to 190 steps with one touch. For
example: a single touch to the ON button could turn
on the TV, the surround sound system, and the
satellite receiver, then set the TV to the correct
video input, the surround system to the right audio
settings, and finish by selecting your favourite
satellite TV channel.
40 Favourite Channels
The MX-350 allows the user to program up to 40 favourite
channels and the 8 LCD screens will display the favourite
channels that are programmed. This allows the users
to access their favourite
channel with one simple button press.
One Hand Ergonomics
The optimized layout of hard buttons enables you to
naturally reach both 5-way thumb
pad to navigate on-screen menus and the
critical Transport, Channel and Volume buttons.
You'll quickly discover that you prefer using the
MX-350 to control all the special features of your
system (especially digital video recorders,
satellite receivers, DVD players, surround sound
receivers and digital cable boxes). There will never
be a reason to dig out your old factory remotes
again. |

batteries.
Centrally Located Joystick

navigate through menus and guides with ease, a
very convenient feature for DVD players,
satellite and cable TV and digital video
recorders.
New Centre Select
Button
The new discrete centre
select button is now detached from the thumb
pad to offer more accurate response to
button presses.
Gemstone™ Buttons
The GemStone buttons have a look and feel that
instantly appeals to the customer. Unlike
standard rubber buttons, these GemStone buttons
add a very distinguished look to the remote
controls that will compliment any high-end
system and offer superior wear resistance.
All Complete Control™ Remotes Now Use Narrow
Band RF
The latest versions of URC’s Complete Control
remotes use rock-solid Narrow Band RF for
improved resistance to RF interference. The
Complete Control line-up includes the following
remote controls:
MX-3000, TX-1000, MX-950,
MX-900, MX-850, MX-650 and MX-350—and the very
new MX-980, MX-810, MX-880 and MX-6000. In
Narrow Band RF base stations, URC offers the
MRF-350 and the new MRF-260. The MSC-400 Master
System Controller also uses Narrow Band RF. The
MRF-350 and MSC-400 come complete with an
RFX-250 Narrow Band RF antenna.
All Complete Control remotes manufactured after
November 1, 2006 (and all MX-3000s since April
2005) are compatible and utilize the new Narrow
Band RF technology.
You can identify the build date of a URC remote
control by looking at the serial number. The
first six digits indicate the build date. If the
serial number appears as 122905 014054, for
example, the first six digits tell you that the
remote was built on December 29, 2005.
